If you want to find a perfect Easter gift as an alternative to the traditional basket or chocolate, here are some ideas. As we are fast-approaching Earth Day all these gifts help, not harm, the planet.

Eco Tulips

I would personally love to receive these gorgeous yellow late Spring eco-tulip bulbs. This is the only company in the US which supplies organic flower bulbs. They are stunning!

Napali Scarf by TDM Design

The Napali scarves are made in Nepal and are produced by a fair trade cottage-industry. It’s no wonder they’re a firm favorite with celebrities, as they are simply gorgeous. I love especially love the bamboo line. I can’t think of a yummier gift for give this Easter. Tip: You can coil the scarf inside of a fair trade Easter Basket and plop a fair trade bar of chocolate in the middle.

Om Shanti Disk Necklace

This beautiful necklace is made my Sonja Picard, an eco-friendly jewelry designer in Vancover. Crafted from sterling silver, you can choose the length of your chain. Om Shanti means: Spiritual peace; the true nature of self, bringing freedom from fear.

 The Sun Hat:

I you buy or give one sun hate this year, I suggest The Duchess Hat by The Sun Hat company. It’s reminiscent of Audrey Hepburn in Breakfast at Tiffany’s and is made from eco-friendly palm fiber. It rolls up into your purse or suitcase and springs easily back into shape. A perfect Summer hat. Tip: You can turn it upside down and fill it with chocolates for your friend.

One Love Organics:

If you’re hoping to turn your mother, sister or BFF onto a non-toxic/greener skin care line, then I highly recommend the One Love
Organics Deluxe Travel Kit. It is literally the most perfect travel kit ever, and is a great introduction to a fantastic line. The travel sizes are actually as good large sizes and last for a few months.

Seedballz Seedballz are a brilliant alternative to an Easter egg, for people who either don’t like or can’t eat chocolate. You simply push them into the soil (in full sun), water, and watch your plants magically grow. You can get herb mixes, flower, wild flowers, sunflowers, basil and much more.
