TASTE OF TEA

When I was visiting the Be Well conference at the LA Convention center (amazing conference for natural beauty junkies like myself), I came across a large booth with people buzzing around it. It seemed to have a great energy, so I took a seat at the “bar” and was treated to some of the most delicious teas I have ever tasted in my life. The Taste of Tea is the most incredible company that carries a range of the most unique and highest quality teas in the US.

It’s a family business, and I met Donna, her husband Nez, and her daughter, Tai – all of whom were so knowledgeable and charming that I could have stayed for hours chatting with them. They regularly travel to Japan, China and Taiwan to view the tea plantations and to source the best green, white and Oolong teas in the world. It’s rare to come across such consistently excellent quality.

They have a number of “Functional” Teas that I wanted to share with you. Each tea has a very specific benefit. For example, the “Stay Calm” tea is a delicious Oolong tea, which induces a feeling of deep calm. Have a cup an hour before bedtime and you’ll have trouble staying awake. “Stay Clear” is a beautiful and effective tea for allergy-relief.

But that’s not all! I’m besotted with their “Green Tea Mixer” which is a great way to get the fresh/active benefits of  pure green tea in one creamy little shaker cup. You simply add a little water or milk to the powder in the little cup, shake and drink – so delicious. You can serve it chilled or warm, too.
