I was turned onto Monk Fruit as a sweetener by a teacher of a “How To Make Raw Chocolate” class in the UK last Summer, and I’ve never looked back. I love the brand, Norbu because they package their zero-calorie sweetener in either little individual packets, which is perfect for beverages on-the-go, and then they carry a large value pack for baking. They’ve even created an adorable purse-friendly tin of Norbu teeny tablets. Much like stevia, Monk Fruit is a zillion times sweeter than sugar, but you don’t get that weird bitter aftertaste. I love that the Norbu website offers some great-looking recipes where we can experiment with this magical little fruit.
