Anti-Cellulite Body Scrub Cups

Anti-cellulite Scrub Cups

Frozen Scrub Cups to Combat Cellulite & Aging

Body scrub cups are a unique and effective way to exfoliate, and give your skin special therapeutic treatments during the summer months. Because they are frozen, they are also cooling and refreshing. I have made two different kinds: A matcha green tea one, which works for your face, and my anti-cellulite body scrub cups, which you will love.

What do they do?

They deeply exfoliate your skin, which you need to do at least once a week, from head to toe.

They also contain ingredients to feed and detoxify your skin, which can help with skin tone, and minimizing cellulite.

What makes them different from a regular body scrub?

Because they are frozen, hard cups, they are easily to use because it’s less messy that a scrub, which you have to scoop out of the jar (goes everywhere!)

How do we make them?

You simply need a muffin tin, muffin cups, a few kitchen ingredients, and essential oils, which are optional.

Frozen Green Tea Scrub Cups

Matcha Green Tea Cups

These guys will infuse your skin with special oils and potent antioxidants to combat aging. Matcha green tea powder has an extraordinarily high concentration of antioxidants. The coconut oil will moisturize your skin, and the rosehip seed oil is very high in Vitamin C, which helps with sun damage, scarring, and stretch marks. The Lavender essential oil is soothing and relaxing, as well as adding an anti-bacterial punch to your scrub cup.

1 cup of sugar

1 tsp Matcha green tea powder

1 cup coconut oil*

1 tsp Rose Hip Seed Oil

20 drops lavender Essential oil

* If the oil is not liquid (if your room temperature is cooler), place the jar in a bowl of very hot water for a few minutes).

Instructions

Mix the sugar and tea together until well combined.

Pour the oils into the bowl and mix really well.

Pour the mixture into muffin tins, and freeze for 2 hours.

Keep in the fridge until you are ready to use them.

 Anti-Cellulite Coffee Scrub Cups

Coffee can be helpful in dealing with cellulite. The rosehip seed oil helps with stretch marks and is full of Vitamin C. The 3 essential oils I’ve chosen are particularly helpful in detoxifying your skin, and thus helping to minimize cellulite.

1c sugar

1 tbsp coffee grounds

2tbsp whole coffee beans

1cup coconut oil

1 tsp Rose Hip Seed Oil

10 drops Juniper EO

10 drops Rosemary EO

10 drops Grapefruit EO

Instructions

Mix the sugar and coffee together until well combined.

Pour the oils into the bowl and mix really well.

Pour the mixture into muffin tins, and freeze for 2 hours.

Keep in the fridge until you are ready to use them.

To Use: Before showering, stand in tub and massage in circular motions all over your body. Rinse off in hot shower. When you get out, there is no need to moisturize.

Warning: Using oil in a shower can make the shower very slippery. Make sure you have a shower/tub mat before you use any scrub in your shower. Or, even better, sit down in the tub or the shower stall! When you are done, take a bunch of paper towels and wipe out bath or shower stall floor with a vinegar sprayer (or your usual bathroom/tub spray).
