My turmeric mango smoothie recipe is super tasty and delicious. I love to use turmeric whenever I can, and it just works in this smoothie like no other. Turmeric has so many important health benefits such as acting as an anti-depressant, preventing blood clotting, an anti-inflammatory and pain reducer, as well as lowering blood pressure. The flavoring of the mango with the turmeric power is absolutely superb. This smoothie is the perfect on pick me up during the day and can easily be enjoyed on the go. Plus – I’m a huge fan of juicy mango. Wow – the health benefits of this smoothie are off the charts – enjoy!

 Turmeric Mango Smoothie

Ingredients 

  • 1 ripe mango, cubed, or 1.5 cups frozen mango chunks
  • 1/2 frozen banana
  • 8-0unces of homemade almond milk, or why not try cashew milk
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper (help your body to absorb the turmeric)
  • 1 tsp probiotic powder
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1 tsp of chia seeds for garnish

My trick to a perfect smoothie? My Blendtec Blender!  These blenders are amazing. The jar is BPA free and it has different setting for whatever you are choosing to make; soups, smoothies, or chopping.
