After all the cancer scares regarding microwave popcorn, I’ve been avoiding it for the past few years. It turns out that the main problem is the bag lining. However, aside from the cancer/infertility issues with the bag, I don’t like all that artificial flavor and color in the actual corn. Now, however, Quinn Popcorn has come to our rescue – and not a minute too late! My daughter is all about what she can’t have right now (yep -she’s about to turn 12,) so microwave corn was on her list. So, when I got sent a few boxes of Quinn corn to try, we were both really excited.

For starters, the bags are completely free of all the awful chemicals in most microwave corn bags. Moreover, the bag they use is compostable – I was hooked before we even started. The flavor combos are pretty awesome: Vermont Maple & Sea Salt? Parmesan & Rosemary – hello?

A simple 3-step-process is involved. First you pop the corn, then you mix in the omega healthy oil, and finally you sprinkle on your completely natural flavor powder – and the flavors are insanely good. Oh, and did I mention that the corn in GMO-free, which is super-important given that 99% of the corn grown in the US is genetically-modified.

Say no more – a great product that fills a much-needed nich, not to mention a hungry tummy!
