With some skepticism I agreed to try some supplements geared towards healthy weight loss (Pure Green Coffee Bean Extract), metabolizing and energizing (Pure Red Raspberry Ketones), appetite control (Pure Saffron) and healthy aging and metabolism support (Resveratrol Complete). I say skepticism because I have learned that these are goals shared by many and they can generally only be attained in the tried and tested way of combining a healthy diet with exercise.

These products from Pure Health Naturally were easy to take, all in doses of two vegetarian capsules taken with a glass of water 30 minutes before eating, and I suffered no unpleasant side effects from taking the supplements. I tried just a week’s worth of each of the supplements, some alone and some in combination (since the advice was not all that clear on following any particular regime. Perhaps I didn’t benefit fully as I would have, by taking them for longer.

While I can’t confirm that I lost any weight as a result of following the regime set for the supplements, I can say that they encouraged me to make healthier meal choices through better planning, since I had to plan ahead (by 30 minutes) meaning that I didn’t get caught with sudden hunger and having no healthy snack to hand. What I did find was that the Pure Saffron worked by giving me a slightly spicy though not unpleasant feeling in my mouth, which reminded me not to snack – even when faced with a laden buffet table!

All in all, I remain of the view that the old-fashioned advice on weight management is the most effective, and that no supplement alone is a magic bullet that sets aside the need for healthy diet and exercise.
