I am a huge fan of Nordic Naturals. This is my go-to company for fish oils – something that we should all be taking for good health, mood and memory. I am thrilled that this ecologically responsible company has come out with another fantastic product – Omega Longevity. The omega-3’s (EPA and DHA) work together with resveratrol and a potent green tea extract – both powerful anti-oxidants. I also take the Omega Woman, as it contains Evening Primrose Oil and GLA – both of which help with my PMS. When buying fish oils, you need to find a company that you can trust has contaminant-free oils and is truthful in their labeling. Nordic Naturals satisfies on both counts.
I love the new book, and you site this brand for supplements. To meet the suggested 2,000-3,000 mg, is it good to take both Omega woman and Longevity or just one? Thanks!
Hi Ashley – taking the Omega Woman along with an Omega-3 supplement like Omega Longevity is ideal. Omega Woman is primarily Evening Primrose Oil (high in GLA) with a touch of fish oil to balance the formula. Omega Longevity is high concentrate fish oil with 95% polyphenol green tea extract and 120 mg of Resveratrol per serving. It’s a great combination – and happens to be the one I am taking! Thanks.
I love this company too. Even the liquid flavored Cod Liver oils taste good…I take the DHA capsules and I chew them b/c they taste like strawberry. I am not kidding, they taste really good!
