First off, if you are full on vegan purist – WARNING!!! You may really NOT like the idea of putting an animal product on your skin (so move on and read my other reviews!) – that being said no animal is harmed in any way with this product line, and they do not test on animals. Phew – now I’ve got that bit of vegan-keeping out of the way, Immupure is an interesting skin care product.
It’s unique because it’s made from colostrum, which as you probably know, is the pre-milk that comes from mammals just after a baby is born. In the case of Immupure skin care, they use colostrum from cows because it is extremely potent. It is cold-sterilized, and the reason they use it and have built a skin care line around it is because it is very rich in vitamins, minerals, antibacterial agents etc. It also has amazing skin smoothing properties.
Now, personally speaking, I’m just not a fan of applying an animal product to my skin – even if it’s the purest and most magical skin elixir on Earth (just being honest), but for those of you who eat meat and don’t care, this is a very clean and natural product that you may want to check out, and BTW, it’s apparently a “best kept secret” of many celebrities and socialites – go figure!
