  1. AH this is perfect as I just got in the door from a snowy winter-wonder-mess! This time of the year it seems as if everyday is a bad hair day for me, because in Canada it gets very cold and you need to always be wearing a toque to keep you warm! These products look fantastic and me and my frozen hair would thoroughly enjoy some sun to shine down on us!

  2. My hair and I would be forever grateful to be the lucky recipients of this fabulous gift. I wear my hair long and use “green” products on it, but I havent’t found a good deep conditioner that works for me. I do not want to resort to “other” products, but my hair is crying out..Help:)

  3. These products look amazing! The Lemon Mint Shampoo sounds perfect for my husband…he has even started making our own soaps with lemon & mint essential oils & olive oil as the base because of the amazing energy from the oils & moisturing quality of EVOO. These hair products sound like winners! I hope my family gets to try them!

  4. I have horses on my property and get up to feed every morning before work and come home to them at night. Sometimes when I’m in a hurry I get ready first then feed or just don’t do a freat job of shaking off when I come in. That can make for a bad hair day as I walk around all day with hay in my hair! At least if I win this I would have pretty hair under all the hay!

  5. Ahhh….bad hair days. Those are the perfect start to a bad day. When no matter how much you straighten, curl, blow dry, or brush, your hair doesn’t want to agree. There are days when I can’t even get my hair to agree with a bun or ponytail and at that point I’m too fed up to care. My hair is so fried in the front. Not the back. Just the front. It drives me nuts how many split ends I have and I need an enviornmentally friendly solution!!

  6. I have naturally curly hair. As nice as it can be when it’s styled right, it is the ultimate bed head when i wake in the a.m. Takes a little work, but I still love it.

  7. Well, I’ve got naturally curly hair and psoriasis on my scalp. Whenever I make my hair happy, my scalp seems to protest and visa-versa. I’m on a quest to make them both happy at the same time. I’d love to try this out!

  8. Bad Hair Days = everyday. I have thick hair that’s wavy in the back and poker straight in the front, and it never does what I ask of it. It looks like I had it straightened when I curl it; it looks dirty when I use product and frizzy when I don’t… It would be nice to be able to get it to do what I ask of it.

  9. My winter hair has gotten a bit dull/dry, and I’d much rather use a safe, animal friendy, eco friendly option.

…and I was amused on the website where it said “if you are bald, tell a friend about us” – a little humor is always a good thing πŸ™‚

  10. My hair is now super long because I haven’t had the time or found a place to go to have it trimmed. Long – to my waist! I think I’m tired of it now – gonna donate it to Locks for Love. But I would love to donate some hair that is in great shape!

  11. There never was a prize more suited to me! My hair … oh,boy. My hair is very thick and has natural curl to it. Hair stylists can make it look beautiful – I can not – I just don’t have the aptitude for it. Even worse, this is one thing I have not been able to go green with. I have not been able to find any “better for me” hair products that don’t make my hair/scalp look and feel terrible. I would absolutely be thrilled if I won this prize!

  12. I know a lot about bad hair days! I have very curly hair, which I LOVE when it’s behaving itself. When it is not behaving it’s very bad…frizzy, poofy, full of knots. I have a drawer full of hairsticks/chopsticks that are my “go to” on bad hair days.

  13. I live in the hot and humid state of Florida. Unlike most people, my goes completely flat in the humidity. Between all the dying, blow-drying and use of yucky products trying to give my hair some volume, not to mention spending many an hour in the sunshine, I’ve done a lot of damage to my hair. Seems like everyday is a bad hair day πŸ™

  14. Bad Hair Day!! Well, I have had plenty of those whether it is humidity (I have fine hair, but a lot of it so if its humid my hair is stick straight and does nothing) or just beyond the point of styling due to needing a cut. However, now I believe that any day can be a bad hair day if I am using products full of toxins. I want my hair to remain beautiful and healthy and I want to maintain this without hurting the environment.

  15. A bad hair day for a woman is almost as bad as or even worse than a blemish popping up when it’s “that time of the month.” Up here in Pennsylvania, we have all sorts of weather conditions that could trigger a bad hair day, which for me, is almost every day unless I have an appointment with my stylist, Marc. Sometimes it’s humid, dry, cold, wet, hot, foggy, snowy, icy, warm, rainy, freezing, you name it! Especially since it’s December and my hair is damaged from the cold weather, my crazy curly locks could use some organic pampering. I wouldn’t want another day when my 14-year-old daughter complains to me, “Mom…your hair…” To say the least, I would love to have a few good hair days once in a while. Happy holidays!

  16. I have a set of bangs I’m trying to grow out and no matter what happens about halfway through they day they start growing a mind of their own and they break away from the pack.. hopefully this stage will go away soon. πŸ™‚

  17. I have naturally curly hair that has a mind of it’s own. It can be very dry and frizzy. It is a constant tug a war with my curly hair winning out resulting in bad hair days…the only way I have found to win is with the flat iron. The Hamadi Healing Serum would be a great asset for the straight days and the Shea Hair Mask would help tame the curls and replenish the moisture needed. I have a hard time finding green hair products that can accomplish this…so it is wonderful to learn about these much needed products!!

  18. Bad hair days make me sad! Products to heal my frizzy hair,
that is in need of some tender loving care,
would be a wonderful gift during this joyous seaons!

  19. A bad a hair day has been happening to me for the past week. My husband and I are visiting his family in Orlando right now and ever since I stepped foot off the plane, my hair went nuts. All frizzy and poofy since my hair is super long, think, and wavy. I am used to very dry weather living in Alaska, so this heat mixed with major humidity is killer on my hair. Glad to be going home tomorrow:)

  20. Well, one good thing about winter is that I can wear my little knit beanie to cover up on bad hair days πŸ˜‰ But… I’d rather win this hamadi set & kiss bad hair days goodbye!

  21. A bad hair day is when it was falling out and I had quarter-sized bald patches all over my head. Turns out I have alopecia associated with eczema. A bad hair day is not being able to cut or style my hair the way I like it or in a way that looks good because of bald areas. Luckily, it’s growing back, so I can actually get a good hair cut in another couple of weeks.

  22. I’ve decided to grow my hair long for locks of love again, but I haven’t found any (affordable) green hair care products that can save me from split ends.

  23. I’ve had plenty of bad hair days lately. My hair is oily near the scalp & dry toward the ends. The winter weather makes it drier & frizzier. Many of the “green” shampoos that I’ve tried leave my hair feeling oily & coated with residue. I would love to try Hamadi products; They sound awesome!

  24. I’ve been using amazing green products for years but have always struggled with hair products! I haven’t found any affordable products that don’t leave my hair and scalp so dry!

  25. I know that this is probably not the place to do this, but I didn’t know where else to post . . . THANK YOU! THANK YOU!! I can’t even begin to tell you how excited and grateful I am to win the Tarte Treasure! I’m giddy with excitement and gratitude! : )

  26. I’ve tried many of the hair products in the GG book, but I haven’t found the right one for my hair yet…maybe this is it?

LOVE their tagline…”Tested on Actresses. Never on Animals.”

  27. Wow – you must have overheard my hairdresser and my husband talking about my hair this week! Here in Alabama where the humidity is high, I battle the big frizzy hair. This could be my weapon to end my dry hair battle!

  28. Boy, how I hate having a bad hair day. The worst is when you have a bad hair day when you actually have to go to a wedding/event and you’re trying to get it the right way and no matter what it’s just not happening. That’s when you scoop it up into the “sophisticated ponytail” and rock it out! Other than fancy events, on a regular bad hair day a hat or bandana is my best friend!

  29. I just recently moved up into the mountains in a town with a population of less than 3,000. It’s already snowed and the static in the air is INTENSE! Everyday I seem to be having to wear my hair up or under a hat for nothing is working to get rid of my static or tangles. I know my hair would be forever grateful for something, anything, that would help πŸ™‚
