The new Dopper water bottle is my favorite reusable water bottle of the year. Actually, it’s brilliant. I now want one in every color, for every member of my family. Where to begin? It’s a gorgeous sleek design (I took it into my Hot Yoga class and practically everyone commented on it.) It feels great to drink out of as the opening is the perfect size (slightly wider than a regular plastic water bottle. But here’s the really cool thing – you can also twist off a third of it and turn it upside down to use as an adorable cup. As if this wasn’t enough, its the easiest-to-clean water bottle I own. And, of course, it’s BPA-free.
But the really cool thing is that Dopper is on a mission to stop people using one-time-use plastic water bottles. They are getting the word out there that over 450,000 single-use plastic water bottles are used EVERY MINUTE in America, and that less than 20% of these are recycled. So we are creating plastic pollution like never before, and the crazy thing is that there is no reason for it. It’s not like we HAVE to use single-use plastic bottles. If you think about it, when our parents and grandparents were trolling around, there was no such thing – and did they die of thirst? Granted, many of us drink a lot more water on the go now, but still, there is not reason why you shouldn’t stock up on reusable bottles. Oh, and one more thing, you can get the Dopper iPhone App, which tells you where you can find a free water tap nearby to re-fill you Dopper bottle.
