This little bottle of DIY pomegranate eye serum would cost you as much as a pair of designer jeans in a department store or upmarket beauty supply. The oils I have chosen to use are of the highest quality, and will both protect and nourish the delicate tissues around your eyes. I think that it makes for the perfect night time eye serum. If you prefer an eye cream (and already have one), you can add 3 or 4 drops of this serum to your eye cream to bump it up a notch.
It’s fantastic for air travel, when the tissues around the eyes can get seriously dehydrated. I’m popping a bottle in my purse when I go on vacation next week!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Pomegranate seed oil
- 1 tbsp grapefruit seed oil
- 1 tsp carrot seed essential oil
- 1 tsp wheat germ oil
Instructions
Simply pour the oils into a dark glass 1 or 2-ounc bottle and shake gently.
Shelf life: 1 year.
Application: Gently apply under and around your eyes (not eyelids) every night. Be careful not to get the oil into your eyes.
I recommend purchasing all of your ingredients from Mountain Rose Herbs.
On Youtube you used grape seed not grapefruit seed oil
for the same recipe. Which should it be?
