PESTICIDE ALERT

istock_000008734927xsmallFor those of you have dogs or cats and particularly those of you who have pets and children, read on: Two extremely toxic pesticides are still to be found in regular flea treatments (collars and sprays). These pesticides are toxic to the nervous system and particularly affect young children – which is scary because kids love to get close and personal with their furry friends. Flea collars are of great concern because the pesticides rub off onto the fur and can easily get onto your child’s skin. The Environmental Protection Agency is taking comments until June 6th on whether to ban these pesticides in pet products. Let your voice be heard and TAKE ACTION now. 1. Hi, what is the solution for “Gorgeously Green” flea and tick prevention? I have 3 large dogs and 1 small. I also have 2 housebunnies. I do not want to spend big bucks on chemicals anymore. I really would like to find an affordable safe solution and not live with fleas and ticks this summer!! Please help. Also heartworm control too! Thanks

  2. We are infested with fleas from our Dog and Cat, but do not want to use the toxic House bombs, do you have any non-chemical solutions?
