If you don’t want to use toxic pesticides in your garden, try this effective DIY Garden Pest Spray. It works wonders on my tomatoes.

  • 1 onion
  • 1 whole garlic bulb
  • 12-inch piece ginger root
  • 1tbsp cayenne pepper
  • 2 cups water
  • 2bsp liquid castille soap

Cover the onion, garlic, ginger, and cayenne with 1 1/2 cups of boiling water and leave overnight in a mason jar or glass jug. In the morning, strain it.

Add this stinky mixture to the water and liquid soap and pour into a large sprayer.

Make sure you spray over the stems, and bottom and tops of the leaves.
