DIY Eye Makeup Remover

My DIY Eye Makeup Remover is perfect, especially for stubborn eye liner and mascara. You don’t always need a separate eye makeup remover, especially as almost all the Gorgeously Green makeup products I recommend come off pretty easily.  That said, you sometimes need something a little more oily to remove that “nighttime” eye makeup.

This a so gentle and nourishing for the delicate tissues around your eyes. I suggest using a non-abrasive aloe-based toner afterward.

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 tbsp sweet almond oil
  • 1 tbsp apricot kernel oil
  • 1 tsp vitamin E oil
  • 2 drops chamomile essential oil

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. You can use an old glass or plastic bottle or order one from Mountain Rose Herbs.
  2. Mix all the oils together in a small bowl and pour into the bottle. Shake before each use. Keep in a cool, dark cupboard.

It’s shelf life is 6 months.
