In the heat of summer, I love reaching for a glass of iced tea! But I hate paying $3, $4 even $5 for tea at the grocery store. This video is full of amazing tips and tricks to make your own iced tea at home! Try using loose leaf tea for the health and taste benefits. Green and white teas contain polyphenols, which is a powerful anti-oxidant and can help prevent cancer and cardiovascular diseases. Don’t miss my delicious recipe for sweet ice cubes – They’re a refreshing treat for any afternoon, and so much better in iced tea than agave and honey!

 

 

INGREDIENTS
  • Xylitol
  • Water

 

DIRECTIONS: 

  1. The ratio of water to Xylitol is 1:1
  2. Boil desired amount of water and remove from heat
  3. Stir in equal amounts of Xylitol until dissolved
  4. Cool syrup
  5. Pour water with syrup in ice cube trays, add lemon slices, mint and lavender if desired
  6. Freeze ice cubes and serve in your favorite iced tea!
