With all the pumpkin lattes pumping out of Starbucks, I wanted to make my own seriously healthy version. So, here it is: My Turmeric Reishi Pumpkin Latte is comforting, warming, anti-inflammatory, and will boost your immune system.
Reishi is a medicinal mushroom, which will calm, center, and strengthen your entire system.
Ingredients
1 tsp Gaia Herbs Golden Milk powder (or 1 tsp ground turmeric with a tiny pinch of pepper)
1/2 tsp Reishi Powder
1/4 tsp pumpkin spice
1 tsp raw honey
1 ounce boiled water
2 ounces of steamed non-dairy milk
Optional: coconut cream
Hollowed out baby pumpkin for fun or for an occasion!
Directions
Place the powders in the pumpkin or mug with the hot water and honey.
Whisk really well.
Add steamed milk
Top with whipped coconut, rice or soy cream
Serve with a couple of cinnamon sticks!
