I just did a Home and Family segment on natural ways to help you get a good night’s sleep. Among other things, I presented a “Sleepy Time” pillow spray to Regis Philbin because I’d heard he had trouble sleeping. Many of you have asked for the recipe, so here it is. You’ll be ecstatic because it’s so very easy to make – Just 3 ingredients! So, have a go at making my Sleepy Time Pillow Spray… even if you don’t have a hard time sleeping, it smells wonderful.

The lavender essential oil is deeply relaxing, and the Clary Sage is calming and will help to balance your hormones.

You will need

2 -ounce dark glass sprayer bottle

2 ounces witch hazel

1/2 tsp lavender essential oil

60 drops of clary sage essential oil

I get my bottles and essential oils from Mountain Rose Herbs.

Instructions

Mix all the ingredients together, and pour into your sprayer bottle. Generously spritz your pillow about 15 minutes before going to bed.

Storage

Store spray in a cool, dark cabinet or drawer when not using.
