I was so happy to test the Weleda Citrus Hydrating Body Lotion for Normal Skin to restore some moisture to skin that has enjoyed too many long periods in the sun and in thermal hot pools during recent visits to New Zealand and LA (lucky me – that’s not a complaint!). The lotion is 100% natural and 88% organic, and contains organic aloe vera, coconut oil and sesame oil along with citral to give it a distinctive citrus smell. As important as the product itself is the well-designed bottle which includes an excellent pump dispense system. The lotion goes on very smoothly and has a strong but not unpleasant lemony scent – a little goes a long way. Hours after applying the lotion my skin was still smooth, soft and noticeably hydrated compared to the areas without lotion. After using this lotion I would be very happy to try other products from Weleda’s new body lotion range, especially the Sea Buckthorn (Replenishing), which is 97% organic and has an ingredient list that sounds delicious!
