I love Terraplana shoes and I have to admit that I can get into some serious justification for splurging when visiting their website – I mean they are made out of old, recycled materials – I’m helping the environment and blah blah blah. My husband is of a differing opinion when he sees boxes that suspiciously resembeshoe boxes, delivered by UPS straight to our front door.
Terraplana use recycled rubber, vegetable dye and recycled Pakistani quilts. They have a line called “Worn Again”- all the trainers are made of 100 percent recycled materials.
Purists beware, they are not vegan.
I have fallen in love with the Helena multi quilt shoe. It is quirky and very sexy and might have to take an honored place in my closet.
