Spring is in the air and that means, in addition to starting my spring cleaning and prepping my little veggie garden, I’m ready to refresh my beauty routine as well! For me, the spring season is all about getting a healthy glow and letting your natural beauty come out and shine. Around this time of year, I ditch the heavier makeup and the thick hydrating products I use all winter and invest in some lovely light items that get me ready to celebrate spring and pull out all my cute dresses.
This month I’ve been using the amazing Greek Yoghurt Sleeping Facial by Korres and I can’t get enough of it! This rich cream has done wonders for making my face more hydrated and my complexion more even. If you deal with redness, irritation or dry patches on your face, this cream is a must-have to prep your skin for spring. And, of course, it is paraben, sulfate and phthalate-free. I have been applying a thin layer to my face almost every night and saw fantastic results after about three days.
To give the delicate skin around my eyes a little extra love (and to get that fresh, bright-eyed look), I turned to HANA Organic Skincare’s Eye Oil. This oil – made with jojoba & rosehip seed oils, vitamin E and rose essential oil – is wonderful for calming down the puffiness that can come with stress or lack of sleep. Nobody wants to deal with dark circles or eye redness around this beautiful time of year, so this oil has been a real life-saver.
As far as makeup goes, I like to keep my springtime look light, fresh and feminine. I am in love with W3LL People’s Luminist Mineral Glow because it 
gives just the right amount of a healthy bronze glow, but it’s never overpowering, and you can pick just the right shade for your skin. Along with my mineral glow powder, I’ve been using Korres’ gorgeous Cheek Butter to complete my look. This multi-purpose salve is the most beautiful pink color and it looks amazing whether you use it as a blush or a lip gloss. I love this butter because it looks very soft and natural, but it still has a slight shimmer that gives your face a luminous glow.
