I cannot speak more highly of Sircuit skin care. They have been on my radar for a few years now, and I’m bubbling over to tell you about the latest Sircuit products that I’ve been testing. If you are looking to switch from expensive anti-aging products to a healthier line (no toxins,) that packs a mega anti-aging punch – this might be for you.
First off, this is a seriously adult skin-care company. The science behind this brand is on a very firm footing, and makes absolute sense to me in every regard. A great deal of scientific thought goes into each and every Sircuit product, and this is one of those brands where you absolutely get what you pay for. BTW – I’ve had a few complaints on my site about the fact that I only review really expensive products. Well – first off, I am trying to include as many budget-friendly brands as I can, and secondly – if you really want to save money and yet use top-notch ingredients, you are better off making your own. All that being said, although pricey, Sircuit skin care is worth every penny and some..
So, what is the science behind this brand? First off, they use “chirally correct” formulations. I first leaned this term from my wonderful dermatologist who always tried to recommend chirally-correct products. I’ll try to keep this as simple as I can (not easy!) – Chirally means that the molecules in the ingredients used are such that they won’t negate other ingredients, and also that they will actually be able to penetrate the skin due to their molecular structure. Sircuit believes that skin care formulations that don’t employ this technology are missing out on one of the most important components in skin care formulation. As far as they are concerned, what good is a product is it can’t penetrate the upper layers of the skin?
Chiral science aside, the other thing that impresses me is their approach to the use of Retinol, which after all, is one of the most potent anti-aging ingredients that we can use. In some of their products they use a brand new patent pending, stabilized Retinaldehyde (Retinal) called IconicA® which offers more effectiveness than what is usually associated with stronger strength Retinols, while also dramatically reducing the opportunity for dryness and irritation.
So, here are the 3 products that they sent for me to test – all of which are keepers. I’ve also noticed that a little goes a very long way with all Sircuit products, so for maximum freshness, when you’re not traveling, keep them in the fridge, and these large bottles and jars should last your for months.
1. O.M.G.+ Serum: This is a hard-hitting serum, that is an excellent addition to your anti-aging arsenal. It contains Epidermal Growth Factor (from yeast,) to maximize delivery of all the other powerfully active ingredients: Echinacea stem cells for hydration, and a host of powerful anti-oxidants. You can use it morning and night, and combo it with your other products. ($150.00)
2. Dream Weaver + is a night time skin repair moisturizer that is filled with all those smart Sircuit actives (and some,) to give your skin a very serious hydration boot. It’s funny because it doesn’t feel that emollient when it goes on – rich yes, but not oily/greasy. And in the morning my skin felt really great. ($95.00)
3.Day Care + So there’s not just one + in this – but quite a few. This is over and above what you’ll find in your run-of-the-mill organic face 
cream. It’s supercharged with all kinds of exotic actives (way too complicated for me to go into here,) and Lumiere, which are light-dispersing, color-correcting, diamond core particles. It’s fantastic under makeup. ($75.00)
I’m almost done, but there is one more, actually 2 more products, which are seriously STUNNING! Their shampoo and conditioner are beyond. They did as promised – leaving my hair feeling and looking shinier than it has in months – expensive products, but OMG – if you’re a high-end hair product girl, you have to check these out!
