For those of you who have dogs or cats (or both!) here is a great product for you: Sun Chlorella Rejuv-a-wafers. Chlorella is a single genus of green algae that photosynthesizes very quickly and can serve as a source of food and energy. Sun Chlorella is a line of supplements and skin products using Chlorella as the main ingredient of course, and now they are catering to the dogs and cats with this product, which has 25mg of Chlorella. It is basically a superfood that will add nutritional value to your pet’s regular food: beneficial amino acids, vitamins, peptides, and nucleic acids. It has lutein for eye health, fiber for good digestion, and Chlorophyll, a natural detoxifier which helps deodorize and freshen breath (something a lot of pet owners need!). The small green tablet is definitely packed full with good stuff that will help your cat or dog live a long and healthy life. I wasn’t sure what my two cats would think of it, but they were very pleased with the taste, they ate it right away. It is a fun treat for them, and Nero even gets defensive when I give it to him, trying to make sure his brother can’t sneak in and steal his tablet. We green girls love our animals, so this is one way to give them a little love, with great health.
