We are besotted with Patagonia’s “Activist” shoes. Not only to be able to get the “d0wn-on-the-street-with-the-kids” look, (my daughter’s new expression for Mom trying to look cool!) but they are literally the most comfy, and lightweight shoe I’ve ever tried on. They are perfect for the following: hiking, camping, cross-country, walking, and even beach combing. They are rip-proof and waterproof (meaning that you fall into puddles and not have to deal with a heavy wet shoe for the rest of the day). I only wish I’d taken mine to the Lake District 2 weeks ago because was silly enough to take my Birkenstocks only, and as I result of having my feet submerged in watery mud, the Birkenstock soles have now split. Also, I know from past experience that Patagonia clothes and shoes last forever because they are so well made.
Anyway, if you are an active girl, who wants to sling a pair of brilliantly- made all-purpose shoes into your travel bag, you’ll be delighted with your new Patagoina Activist purchase! BTW – they run very true to size.
