I’m always on the lookout for a really great “natural” hair care line (as you know), and have tested hundreds of them!! I want to give a special recommendation to those of you with curly, kinky/frizzy hair. nuNAAT’s Real Me!
This is a beautiful line that includes shampoo, conditioner and styling products that will go a long way to eliminating frizz, while thoroughly cleansing your hair. My daughter loves this line because she has very thick hair, which tends to get pretty curly (but frizzy, not pretty), when left to air-dry. She’s always desperate to find products that work well enough that she won’t have to blow her hair out every time she washes it – nuNAAT’s real seems to do the trick. Maybe it’s because it’s formulated with a special “Join Complex” of 5 natural oils. Hmmm – not sure, but I will say that when I tried the conditioner, I was able to slip a brush through my hair after towel-drying with NO de-tangler, which isn’t normally possible.
My overall verdict is that if you have very curly, course, and/or damaged hair, nuNAAT’s Real Me (free of parabens, SLS, mineral oil, and sodium chloride,) might be a great choice.
