I have to say that in terms of utter, unparalleled skin care luxury, May Lindstrom is right up there at the tippity top! If you are a natural skin care girl, and love to feel exquisite botanical ingredients feed your skin, you might need to check out this line.
Let me start with one of my favorite ever products – The Blue Cocoon. The thing about May’s products is that every aspect of the line aims to soothe your senses – even the packaging (dark glass with gold lettering) is special and has a truly luxurious feel about it. But the moment you open your jar of Blue Cocoon, your senses will be taken to a different level – the color alone is so pretty – a sky blue azure, which comes from Blue Tansy, and the natural fragrance, which immediately melted my shoulders away from my ears – aaaaahhhh. The balm is firm-ish to the touch, but the moment is meets contact with the warmth of your skin, it melts into a silky balm. For the ultimate TLC session, I recommend taking a good 5 minutes to massage this balm into your face – you’ll feel as if you are at a high end organic spa…the ultimate treat. This balm is not only deeply moisturizing, but it’s wonderful for combating inflammation in the skin. It’s pricey for sure, but you only need a tiny amount on your finger tip for your whole face, so the jar should last you a very long time.
I’m also blown away by the Youth Dew, which contains 20 precious skin oils and CoQ10 – a potent anti-inflammatory – again, 2 or 3 drops of this elixir will suffice.
