The weather is changing, and so is our skin! Summer to Fall is an interesting time because just as we look to change our wardrobe with an eye out for cozy sweaters, and we start to put away our sun-kissed glow beauty products too. But WAIT!!! You can still squeeze a few more weeks out of your bronzers and tanners. Actually, I think this is the exact time of year that we need these kinds of products because we’re still getting the odd T-shirt weather day, and some of us are still in shorts. Self Tanner: I am absolutely in love with my Vita Liberata Phenonemal 2-3 week tan mousse. It it odorless, and the easiest to apply out of every self-tanner I’ve ever owned. My lovely subtle tan lasts for a good week, and if I apply 2 or 3 days in a row, it will last for 2-3 weeks (the truth). I apply the mousse with the mitt (which comes with it), in the morning before I go to work, and it gives me an instant tan. I let it percolate for the day, and when I shower in the evening, it’s baked. Then I just get to enjoy my gorgeous tan without worrying about it. This is a year-long product – no need to get pasty and pale after Labor Day!
Eye Shadow Palette: I am loving the Lily Lolo Laid Bare Eye Palette. It’s a beautiful collection of eight eye shadows in wearable, neutral shades for every skin tone, perfect for creating a natural daytime look with darker shades for added drama. It’s blendable and buildable. The ingredients are beautiful too: They include pomegranate oil, which acts as an anti-oxidant, while Manuka oil is anti-bacterial. Living Luminizer by RMS Beauty is a cult product in the green beauty world. I think it totally stands up to its hype. I have tried dozens of mainstream luminizer products and this is my personal must-have. You simply brush your index finger over the product and dot it on your cheekbones. It delivers a soft, youthful glow, and looks utterly natural. You can wear it on top of BB cream or foundation, or even on bare skin if you dare to go naked! This is also my go-to girlfriend gift.
