I met the stunningly beautiful owner of Juara Skincare, Metta, at Expo West back in March. She’d just come off a long flight from Indonesia, yet was glowing – wonder if this might have anything to do with her wonderful products! The Juara Skincare system is based on traditional Indonesian medicinal and beauty rituals. Metta explained to me that the Juara Skincare line was created to maintain health through age-old tradition, infusing the importance of a beauty ritual in the process of experiencing self-care joy.
I was really impressed with the Candlenut Body Polish, the idea of which is that you can exfoliate and moisturize on the go: you simply rub the polish onto any dry areas (back of hands, elbows, etc.), and you dust it off with your fingers – no water required, leaving your skin silky smooth. While you scrub off dead skin cells on the top layer of skin, Illipe Butter moisturizes the skin underneath, combatting dry skin in both directions (LOVE!).
The Candlenut body cream is like thick caramel for your skin – deeply moisturizing dry, aging, and damaged skin with a rich, non-greasy formula that leaves a warm, tropical scent that you will never forget. It is an incredible moisturizer – no wonder it has a cult-following!
The entire Juara Skincare line is simply stunning. I love that they have a dark spots & uneven skin tone collection (this is one of the most frequently asked questions in the Gorgeously Green world), and they even have an acne line for younger skin.
