Guys, I’m not sure if you’ve gotten the memo yet, but it’s winter. SHOCKING, I know. But winter weather needs your skincare regimen needs to kick into overdrive. If you’re anything like me, you’ve got a couple of rough patches of dry skin from the change in weather. And, right now, I’m reaching for the Intensive Repair Balm by Tammy Fender as my skin-saving grace.
Tammy Fender has an incredible line of products, and she’s an amazing formulator. If you follow my product reviews avidly, you’ll know I’m a big fan of her Antioxidant Creme. And the Intensive Repair Balm by Tammy Fender deserves equal hype. This is one of her bestselling products for a reason – It is exceptionally effective, and a delight for all skin types.
And the proof is in the pudding … err, ingredients! Intensive Repair Balm by Tammy Fender has an amazing doze of helichrysum, which has incredible healing properties (it also smells amazing). This product is not only a major healer, but it’s deeply moisturizing, and has amazing skin firming benefits as well. It is a thick product (hence the categorization as a balm and not just a moisturizer), but I’ve never once experienced a breakout while using it. It’s a very luxe product – A little goes a long way, but truth be told I have to fight to urge to reapply multiple times throughout the day because it just feels heavenly on my face.
How do I use it? In the winter months (i.e. NOW) I use it all over my face and neck in the mornings and evenings (particularly the evenings as that’s primo skincare time). And I use it periodically throughout the day as a spot treatment if I have a particularly red or enflamed patch of skin that needs some love.
