I love Indie Lee as a brand, and I particularly love the Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser because it provides the perfect solution to both my am and pm cleansing routine. It is a light gel with a lovely natural strawberry scent. The strawberry oil and lycohphene actually help to brighten your skin, so it does way more than just remove makeup, dirt and oil. It also contains a slew of anti aging antioxidants. And, as with all my recommendations, it is squeaky clean and gorgeously green.
It is the perfect morning jump-in-the-shower cleanser, and then serves as step two of your cleansing routine at night. Step one should always be a creamy, emulsifying cleanser that will melt and remove makeup. Step two (this product) is where you deep cleanse, refine, and brighten your skin.
This brightening cleanser prepares your skin perfectly for your am or pm serum because it gently removes all the the upper layer of dead skin cells, making it ready for an active serum (like your Vitamin C), to absorb in.
