If you eat salads as I do, almost everyday, then I think you’re going to love this innovative product called the Gourmet Mist. It’s basically a pump spray bottle, which is completely eco-friendly, packaging-wise. You get to “spray” your salad with extra-virgin olive oil and a very good aged balsamic vinegar. The idea is that you will use much less than you would if you were pouring it on. This is true, however, I do like quite a bit of dressing on my leaves, so I had to go a bit spray-crazy. I particularly like the balsamic vinegar – it’s sweet and tangy and you can get just the right amount on your leaves. These sprays are also great for cooked or grilled veggies. There is also a canola spray that I would recommend for frying.
