Preserve Eco-Friendly Products

preserveThis is a go-to company for the G.G. girl. I am a huge fan of Preserve Eco-Friendly Products because they keep our plastic out of the landfills and transform old food and to-go containers into beautiful kitchenware, toothbrushes, tableware, and more. As many of you now know, every plastic container comes with a number in the chasing arrows on the bottom of it. This number can tell you about the safety of the product and how it should be disposed of. #5’s cannot be recycled by most curbside recycling programs, so many of us have to guiltily shove all those old yogurt cups and hummus containers into the trash. However, there is a better way: Preserve Eco-Friendly Products now accepts all #5 containers and will create beautiful products out of every #5 you discard! There have arranged a bunch of drop-off locations in selected Whole Food stores across the country (see their website), or you can mail them in. I love all Preserve Eco-Friendly Products but especially their picnic/tableware as it has enabled me to throw many completely zero-waste kid’s parties. With a wide-ranging line-up of products (including kitchenware, travel and oral care products), Preserve Eco-Friendly Products has you covered.

  1. Those plates and picnic-ware sound cool. I found some great eco plates and bowls that are made from sugar cane and reeds and are so sturdy. They almost look like Chinet but are so much more eco. I use them for parties and bbq’s. I found them on this cool website called http://www.bluepod.com.
