Born Free USA have announced the results of their competition for Fur-Free Fashion. I was lucky enough to be one of the panel of celebrity judges, and we all unanimously picked the design team (Zsorzsa Kovacs and Jessica Richard), who created the most stunning outfits (pictured). So the animals won big time! The Fur trade is still going strong – it’s damaging to eco-systems, wildlife and the people who work in the fur processing factories. A huge shout-out for Born Free USA, who are Naitonal Leaders in wildlife conservancy and animal protection. I have known the director, Will Travers, for many years. He was inspired by his mother, Virginia McKenna, who starred in the legendary movie, Born Free, back in the sixties. She has devoted her entire life to protecting the rights of animals – a truly Gorgeously Green woman, who continues to inspire me with all she does.
