I first tried the Depth shampoo and conditioner a couple of years ago while on vacation and really liked them. After my daughter and I had been in the ocean and swimming pool pretty much all day-long, we used the Drench Hydrating Shampoo and the Immerse Daily Conditioner. I love to test non-toxic shampoo on my daughter as she has really thick hair, which gets super-dry. Her hair (and mine,) did really well using these products. All Depth products are gentle enough for babies/kids, and help protect color-treated hair too.
I like that Depth is reasonably-priced (comparative to most drugstore brands.) You can find it online and at Wholefoods and most large health food stores.
I also love brands/products that do something good for the planet, as well as performing well. Depth is just one of those products with an authentic story behind it’s inception. The founders, Tim and Korrie, are marine biologists who met at graduate school. They wanted to create a good quality product that helped protect the planet too. They also created Camp Sea Lab in an effort to educate children about the importance of protecting marine life.
