I was first turned onto Cosmedix by my dermatologist – who loved the “clean” ethos of the brand, Cosmedix prioritizes using the purest ingredients in all of their products. All of their products exclude parabens, petrolatum, mineral oil, PEGs, sodium lauryl sulfate, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, formaldehyde donors and artificial dyes and fragrances. Needless to say, I was in love at first glance. And I fell head over heels for Define by Cosmedix – their signature age-defying treatment with hydroxy acids and retinol.
Define by Cosmedix is an amazing product for resurfacing skin when it’s starting to get a bit saggy and lackluster. This multi-tasking cream gently exfoliates the skin to promote a smoother-looking texture by helping to reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, and imperfections. It contains lactic acid and a nice high concentration of retinol. A little goes a long way, and you might need to start using it every other night, as it’s strong. When using retinol products, if your skin becomes dry, red, or flaky, you need to reduce how often you apply the product until your skin gets used to it.
I have to tell you, Define by Cosmedix made a huge difference in my skin – it looks absolutely amazing. I love my skin’s smoother texture, I love that I’m not nearly as worried about fine lines, and my overall complexion is brighter.
