The Compokeeper is a brilliant addition to your kitchen if you compost, and if you don’t – now could be the time to begin! The Compkeeper can mount to the inside of a cabinet door and is like having a giant ziplock bag inside a large waste bin, which opens and closes with either pressing a foot pedal or a button. It keeps your compost out of sight, out of mind and eliminates odor completely.
Why it works for me is because the little compost crock on my counter can sometimes be too small for the amount of kitchen scraps that I’m generating on a daily basis. My laziness factor doesn’t love having to traipse down to the end of my yard to the compost bin, more than a couple of times a week, so this is why I love my Compo Keeper.
You simply line it with a Biobag (fully biodegradable bag,) and dump the whole lot in your compost bin.
