CLARISONIC MIA

I love my little Clarisonic Mia facial cleansing gadget. I’m very wary of electrical face gadgets, as I like to keep my routine simple – plus there’s no spare counter space in my bathroom – product junkie that I am. The Mia, however, is tiny and easy to shove away in a small drawer. I also love that it’s small enough to pack in your overnight bag.

Whenever I cleanse at night, it usually takes a couple of rounds to really remove all the makeup and grime, and even then, if I dry my face with a white towel, I’m often appalled to see that I clearly did NOT remove every single trace! The Clarisonic does just that and it feels lovely. I like the feel gentle brush swooshing all over my face, neck and chest and I love the way my skin feels afterwards. If I have a lot of makeup on, I do a quick regular facial cleanse in the shower, getting off the worst, and then I get to work with my Mia. I only use it at night, because in the morning I use an exfoliating product in the shower.

I’m highly skeptical on it’s claim that it “reduces appearance of pores, fine lines and wrinkles,’ however they slap that verbage on virtually every beauty product nowadays, and it’s pretty meaningless. That said, it does a beautiful deep cleanse, and for that reason, it’s a keeper.
