What an absolute joy to discover Blue Avocado – an entire brand that is the real thing as far as “eco friendly” is concerned. Founder, Paige Davis is an eco-firecracker, who aims to change the planet from the inside out by changing and reinventing everything she does. She is certainly walking-the-walk with Blue Avocado. They have recently teamed up with Lauren Conrad, who has designed a simply GORGEOUS collection of beauty, travel and entertaining bags/pouches/carriers, which are now available to buy! How come eco friendly? Well – all of the products are made from a fabric called Repreve, which is a genius material made from post consumer plastic. Repreve is one of the few companies that is completely transparent about exactly how many bottles etc were used to make each item. It’s also the most amazingly soft/silky fabric ever.
The cosmetic collection of bags are really delicate and pretty, and their newest addition is a pie carrier and casserole carrier from their Entertaining collection.
