If you’ve never tried Aromatherapy Associates..what can I say? They are truly one of the best Essential Oil product lines on the market. I discovered them over 20 years ago in London, and have been obsessed ever since. When you are dealing with essential oil products, it’s all about the quality & purity of the oils, and their potency. The potency is key in having a product that is truly therapeutic, and when I say “therapeutic”, I mean a product that truly does what is says it will. I have tried so many other companies (bath oils, lotions etc) where the scent is almost gone once it’s added to your bath. Aromatherapy Associates blends, however, will scent your entire bathroom, while soothing/healing your body & mind.
The blends have been carefully and perfectly calibrated for maximum therapeutic effect. I am loving their De-Sress-Mind line, which consists of a bath oil and a massage gel. You have to try Aromatherapy Associates to believe it, but when I’m super-stressed out, I run a very hot bath (one of the few un-green luxurious I allow myself,) pour in a cap of this rich oil, and soak for a good 1/2 hour. When you towel off, you should just pat yourself dry to ensure the oil still stays on your skin – no body lotion required. You can then apply the muscle gel to your neck and shoulders and prepare for a very restful night’s sleep.
Remember, you get what you pay for with these kind of products. If the Aromatherapy Associates price seems a little steep, its because they don’t cut corners on quality. Maybe add it to your birthday/Christmas list.
