Every few weeks at Gorgeously Green like to do an in-depth Gorgeous Finds on a natural beauty company whose products have real integrity. I have had the pleasure to work with Pangea Organics over the years, and there are two adjectives I can use to describe the Boulder Colorado based company: passionate and positive. They are passionate about creating “ecocentric skincare” which takes every step to promote the positive and have no negatives in an environmental and cultural sense. It starts with responsible sourcing, organic farming, and fair wages. Ecocentric small business practices combine with a love for the Earth and all natural organic ingredients, nothing synthetic or questionable. Good for your skin, good for people, good for the Earth.
Another word I could use to describe their Ecocentric line of cleansers, toners, moisturizers, masks, etc: stimulating. I mean that in that their products stimulate the senses through unique scents and combinations. Such combinations include: “Egyptian Calendula & Blood Orange”, “French Rosemary with Sweet Orange” (personal favorite), “Italian Green Mandarin with Sweet Lime”, and the luscious “Nigerian Ginger with Sweet Lavender & Thyme” just to name a few. Here is a breakdown of three products that I love, each which serves a different type of skin.
Cleanser – Australian Wild Plum & Willow
For combination to oily skin, this cleanser balances with three aboriginal Plum extracts, Willowherb extract to soothe irritation and decrease redness, and even Manuka honey to serve as an antibacterial for your delicate face.
Toner – French Rosemary with Sweet Orange
Most toners are made with harsh ingredients and used to decrease oil, but this toner is made specifically for those with sensitive or dry skin. Not only does it smell AMAZING, a great rejuvenating aromatherapy for the morning and night, but its effects are noticeable. Rosemary is the primary ingredient, used to clarify and strengthen the skin by increasing poor circulation and feeding the skin antioxidants.
Cream – Nigerian Ginger with Sweet Lavendar & Thyme
For normal to combination skin, this formula helps restore moisture and protect your skin against environmental aggressors. The potent formula includes hylauronic acid, which occurs naturally in the skin to retain water, giving you a youthful glow. Grape leaf extract is an age-old antioxidant combined with potent yet gentle thyme to stimulate and purify. Wonderful!
