Sheer Strawberry Non-Toxic Lip Gloss

Print Friendly, PDF & Email

I’m besotted with my Sheer Strawberry non toxic Lip gloss by 100% Pure.  Lipsticks can be full of some really dodgy ingredients, which is why a non-toxic lip gloss should be number one on your green beauty swap-out list. A non-toxic lip gloss is a purse must-have for me because I reapply many times a day, and actually indirectly ingest the stuff by licking my lips.

Our skin absorbs every little thing we put on it. Unfortunately, most commonly bought beauty products contain quite a lot of harsh chemicals, synthetic fragrances and damaging toxins. Once the skin absorbs these, it can be hard to detox. These chemicals can then go on to cause clogged pores, skin irritations, premature aging and much much more.

A line like 100% Pure is formulated with high performing antioxidants, naturally occurring vitamins and essential oils, which will improve the health of your skin in the long run.

But finding a really great non-toxic gloss, which is free of parabens, artificial dyes and flavors etc is easier said than done. Also, finding one that feels great (not too sticky), and stays on my lips beyond 5 minutes. So when I tested the Sheer Strawberry Non-Toxic Lip Gloss by 100% Pure, I was in love. It is colored with actual fruit pigments, which is what makes this 100% pure so unique.

The shade will suit almost everyone because it’s a pretty strawberry pink (more pink than red), and sheer enough that it doesn’t make you look like you’re wearing lipstick – it’s more of a sheer tint. I like to wear it alone or over a lipstick at night.

To re-cap why I love it:

  1. It’s non-toxic – filled with just the good stuff
  2. Tastes great
  3. Stays on.

100% Pure has been on my radar for years. They are a cruelty-free, vegan cosmetic line, with all kinds of skin care, and cosmetic products. It’s also organic.
