I don’t think I could have stuffed anymore nutrients into my Moringa Matcha Chia Pudding if I’d wanted to!! So, you know that I’m obsessed with Moringa because it has so many health benefits. Aside from lowering blood sugar and cholesterol, it contains powerful anti-oxidant compounds. And guess what? It contains more calcium than regular milk!
I don’t always feel like chugging a smoothie in the morning. Actually, in the winter I want something warm. So, right now, I’m making this Moringa bowl for an afternoon snack. But when it gets warmer, I’ll have it for breakfast.
It also contains Matcha (fiber, anti-oxidants, metabolism booting compounds), chia seed (Omega 3 fatty acids), and non-dairy yogurt (protein).
Ingredients
1.5 cups non-dairy yogurt (coconut or cashew are my pick)
2 tsp chia seed
1 tsp Matcha Powder
1/2 tsp Moringa powder
A few drops of Stevia (optional, but a little sweet might be needed as Moringa is a tiny bit bitter)
Topping: I love to chop up kiwi, Pitaya (the bright green fruit), and mango. I also love to add toasted nuts for crunch.
Instructions
Whisk all the ingredients together in a small bowl. You’ll need to whisk hard to break up Matcha lumps and make sure everything is evenly distributed.
Top with fruit and nuts.
