Natural shampoo can be problematic. Even green zealots often eschew “green” shampoo because it only too often leaves your hair feeling stripped and dry. But Rahua Shampoo is in a league of its own. It is honestly one of the best “eco’ shampoos I’ve ever tried, and it’s no wonder that it has an almost cult status in the eco chic space. When I went into my local green beauty store here in LA, the owner told me that she can’t get the stuff on her shelves, and has to reorder every week.
Star Ingredients include:
RAHUA-UNGURAHUA – fortifies weak, damaged strands while nourishing and regenerating the scalp and hair follicles.
PALO SANTO – “holy wood” is Rahua’s signature scent, which offers a delicate fragrance; the ingredient also provides a soothing aromatherapy experience while shampooing.
QUINOA – gluten free super-food that revitalizes hair and promotes healing and moisture retention.
COCONUT AND SHEA BUTTER BETAINES – safely, gently and effectively remove oil and dirt without stripping necessary nutrients.
The signature scent is addicting, and I think that the reason why is leaves your hair so soft and lustrous is because the natural cleansing (light lathering) shampoo is derived from coconut oil.
Mercifully (because it’s pricey), a little goes a long way.
