DIY Charcoal Facial Mask + Alkaline Charcoal Lemonade

Would you ever purposely put charcoal on your face? Charcoal is the beauty ingredient of the moment. It’s been added to cleansers, face masks, toothbrushes and even juices. It’s a detoxifier, unclogs pores and brightens skin. Now, you can make your own Alkaline charcoal lemonade in addition a charcoal facial mask.

Alkaline Charcoal Lemonade

Activated Charcoal mask – Oily Skin:

Activated Charcoal mask – Dry Skin:

Directions:

  • Make it in a mason jar
  • Fill a measuring cup with the water.
  • Add the lemon juice and the syrup. Mix well. Add the salt and lemon essential oil.
  • Pour 3/4 of the mixture into a mason jar.
  • Add 1/2 cup crushed ice
  • Add the charcoal to the measuring cup. Stir well. Slowly pour over the ice in the mason jar.
  • Garnish with smashed herbs.
  • Directions for Mask:

 

Simply mix it up. Apply to face with a cosmetic brush. Leave for 30 minutes and then rinse off.
