2 DIY Holiday Gift Scrubs

Body and foot scrubs make the most wonderful holiday gifts because they smell AMAAAAAZING, feel good, are easy to make, and best of all – will fit within any budget. Yep – you can whip up a scrub for under $2 or $3, when in the store it would cost upwards of 20 smackaroos’s. As far as the gift aspect is concerned, it’s all about how you package and decorate the jar. So I would definitely recommend you have a go at making my 2 DIY Holiday Gift Scrubs

I love to use small mason jars and decorate with chiffon ribbon. You can also download free printable labels to give your jars that professional touch. Here are my two favorite recipes for the Holidays:

Spicy Orange Holiday Sugar Scrub

INGREDIENTS:

• 3-4 ounce clear plastic jar
• 5 tbsp dark brown sugar
• 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
• 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg
• 1/2 tsp ground ginger (and 1/2 tsp of ground cloves if you want it SPICY)
• 1 tbsp orange zest
• 3 tbsp grape seed oil
• 2 Star Anise (for decoration in top of jar)

DIRECTIONS:

1. Simply place the dry ingredients in the jar.
2. Mix with the end of a teaspoon.
3. Add the oil and mix gently until well combined.

Peppermint Foot Scrub

INGREDIENTS:

• 2 ounce clear plastic jar
• 3 tbsp sea salt
• 2 tsp grape seed oil
• 15 drops peppermint oil

DIRECTIONS:

1. Place sea salt in a jar.
2. Pour oil over the salt and add the peppermint drops.
