Hibiscus Watermelon Crush

Hibiscus Watermelon Crush

My husband purchased a watermelon as big as a baby this weekend and unless I find multiple ways to use it, it will take up half my refrigerator for the next week. Moreover, it’s searingly hot right now, so I tossed some in my blender with my favorite iced tea and created an insanely refreshing, healthy fruit crush.

Serves 2

  • 2 cups watermelon (de-seed as much as you can, but a few seeds are fine as they’ll get crushed)
  • 2 cups Hibiscus Tea, chilled
  • 1tsp chia seeds
  • 5 fresh mint leaves
  • 1 dropper full of Sweet Drops Valencia Orange
  • 2 cups crushed ice
  • Cube the watermelon

Soak the chia seeds in the bottom on your jar or pitcher with 1/4 cup of the tea. Leave for about 30 minutes.

When you are ready for your drink, process all the ingredients for  just a few seconds in you high speed blender, and you are good to go.
