I love turmeric – to me, it is an essential superfood. Not only is it great for inflammation, but it also has so many additional health benefits that we should all strive to eat turmeric and curcumin daily! I’m also showing you my favorite recipe for golden milk (made with homemade almond milk) – that you can drink warm or cold!
Golden Mylk
Ingredients
– 24 oz of Almond Mylk (my recipe is in the video above, it’s incredibly easy to make)
– 5 pitted Medjool dates
– 1/4 tsp black pepper
– 1-inch turmeric root
– Himalayan salt
– 1/3 cup shelled hemp seeds
Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend for about 60 seconds. Enjoy warm or chilled!
