I love to use a facial mist, either after I’ve just finished cleansing (in place of a toner) or as a hydrating spritz to carry around with me all day. This particular spray is uplifting, soothing and will give your skin a beautiful glow. I always choose geranium in a spritz because it’s an oil that works so powerfully on our emotions. Feeling depressed? Try some geranium! In the summer  months, keep your mist in the fridge, so when you apply it, it is SO cooling.

INGREDIENTS:

DIRECTIONS:

  1. Mix all the ingredient together in a glass measuring jug and carefully pour into your bottle. It’s best to keep your spritzer in the fridge as it feels so good going on cold, however, you can keep it in your bathroom cabinet for up to one month, as long as it’s not too hot (above 75 degrees F).

Note: Whenever you are making preparations with essential oils, keep in mind you are only using a few drops of oil per recipe. Although the individual bottles of good-quality essential oil can seem pricey, you get an awful lot of bang for your buck when you see how long the oils last (3 years) and how little you need for each recipe. I also try to only recommend oils that I know you’ll use in other recipes too. I recommend purchasing your oils from Mountain Rose Herbs.
