Ingredients:
- 8 dates, pitted
- 1 1/2 cups filtered water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Directions:
- Place the dates and water in a heavy-bottomed saucepan. Bring the mixture to a boil. Then turn down the heat and simmer gently for 15 minutes. Allow the mixture to cool before adding vanilla extract. Place the mixture in a high-speed blender and blend until smooth.
- Your date puree will keep in the fridge in a sealed container for up to four days.
