I’ve recently noticed an influx of ants around my yard, and it’s only days before they’re gonna try to make their way into my house. I really don’t like to use pesticides at all in or around my home. I have heard so many first-hand stories of pesticide poisoning that are really alarming. Here’s quick and easy ant-repellent spray, using essential oils that works like a charm. I make it with pure, organic essential oils, and it won’t harm children or pets in and around my home. Plus it smells lovely.
Here’s the thing, I don’t like killing anything, even an insect. So my first line of defense is to try to repel them. But, if I didn’t take action here in Los Angeles, my kitchen and bathrooms would be totally overrun with ants – ewwwww. I’ve also had luck with some of following non-toxic tips – read more about them here.
- Vinegar
- Cayenne Pepper
- Bone Meal
- Cinnamon
- Piles of instant grits (they consume these little granules, which dehydrate them to the point that they’ll disappear).
